i know .. geez 2 posts in one day ... But hope this helps someone
I just spent 2 more hours of my life on the phone with this insurance company. I just received a letter from them stating that my current policy offers reduced treatment/prescription costs if I visit one of their approved Fertility Specialists using this special program that is ALREADY on my current policy. I do not completely understand it yet, and my current RE is not an approved provider. I registered at that website to see what I could learn. I also placed a call with his insurance advisor and I hope she will call me back and I can let her know about this program as well (if she doesn't already know). Maybe they can become a provider and if not, It's not to late in the game for me to switch ... (as much as I really don't want to) I just wanted to pass this along and try to help out as much as I can on getting all this non-sense insurance crap out to as many people as possible. I know and understand financial burdens well.

I have that insurance co too. My employer has a blanket $5000 for infertility to be used however we want as long as we use an in network doctor, which I am. To date, I have spent at least 20 hours on the phone with them trying to get payments. They currently owe me $750, I'm just waiting for them to deny it so I can get on the phone and start arguing which is what I always have to do to get paid... argh.
argh..insurance issues can be so frustrating! I HATE their limited coverage and their fine print. I hope all works out for you.
Thank you for the info. I don't have that insurance. We actually have the suckiest of situations in that we're in a mandated coverage state BUT the insurance is through another state which is not mandated. So no coverage. Makes you want to get a new job...
Wow, I usually check your blog on a pretty regular basis, but I just had to catch up on your last like 4! So sorry. Hope you're feeling better and not talkin' to the porcelain gods anymore. I have endo (officially as of Monday, but I think they got it all), and I've had nausea but I never put the 2 together. I've also been on Clomid 5 times, and I've def had nausea with that, but not after sex. Hmm...keep us update on that. As far as Nicole Ritchie...I try to just ignore that stuff now. It's like it's all over the news on the latest celebrity having a kid and I've just gotten to where now I just change the channel and avoid it altogether. About insurance, I'm on dh's, and it just changed to Welborn. They pay 50% of infertility tx...it's better than what we had. Although, they're trying to say my lap for endo the other day was under infertility and I'm going to argue that point. I hate insurance when it comes to IF...they'll pay an arm and a leg for gastric bypass and/or liposuction...but they'll ask me to cut out my uterus just to have a kid. ugh.
