I did it

I quit. My last day working will be Feb. 19th. I didn't feel like any other present choice was the right choice except quiting. I feel like this is going to be a great thing. I quit. I left the job I thought I went to school for. I left a job that I have been at for over 10 yrs. I quit. Can you tell it still hasn't really sunk in yet.

Today I received an email from a family friend asking me to help her plan and make a website for her daughter's wedding. She wants to pay me for my services. She didn't know I was looking for work and just quit my job. There will be more opportunities for my family that will help us out. Welcome to my new Life.

It takes a very brave woman to realize what she needs to do, close her eyes, and leap. Congrats on making what I'm sure was a very hard decision!

Good luck my love, its always scary when one makes important changes in their life. I remember leaving my job voluntarily, years ago now, but I still remember how I felt.

You sound like you're going to do great and you'll have more time with your boy too, no?

:)

There's that faith you were looking for. :) Isn't He already good in His provision? I pray that you will remain at peace with this decision, and that many more great opportunities will present themselves!

I am so happy for you Farah. You will always do what is best for your family and maybe this is just the start of new beginnings. That said, I realize how scary it must be to leave something so familiar and comfortable. I'm always here if you need to vent or someone to listen.

When people say "having a baby changes everything," it really is true. It changes your priories, your goals, and what you thought you wanted/needed to be happy.

Welcome to the next chapter!

WOO HOO! You can do this! Hubby does a lot of "at home" stuff with his passion too and would love it if it became more full time for him. Go Farah!
