holy cow! i apologize for not swinging by in awhile. so, we both have lazy eaters, eh? everyone told me that cate would eventually bfeed in about 10 mins at 3 months. yeah, not so much. maybe 30? and she will be very hungry and then stop nuring to talk to me! what baby does that? i get the feeling that this will be a baby long struggle, it sounds like you do too-i hope we are both wrong. YOU QUIT YOUR JOB!!! that must be such a weird feeling! it does seem like it hasn't sunk in yet. wow. a whole new life! i look forward to hearing about it.
Thanks for sharing - that gave me goosebumps! (or goose pimples as my husband's side of the family calls them :-) Thanks for the help on the BF and formula issue :-)
I was away and am just catching up on all the drama.
Seriously, I can't believe how advanced MT is! the teeth! The standing! What a guy!!! Yay MT.
I'm sorry to hear about all the feeding issues. I have no advice as I have been unable to get Sacha to transition to a sippy cup (he's 10 mos and I've been trying since 6, and he won't take a bottle). I do use the Nuby, it seems to work best. (And by best I mean 1oz at a time.) I DO just let him play with it. I think that the babies will only get a hang of something by practice (think about the standing, crawling, etc... why would he NOT need practice to learn to use a cup?)
As for your job... I think you made a good move for you and your family. MT obviously needs you right now. And you want to be there for him. Screw what "society" thinks!!
You are very right--it is about quality of life. I wish people would quit with the guilt and the high mindedness. In the end, everyone has to choose what works to make the family a FAMILY. And for you, this will work. And the cool thing--you can always change things if quality of life becomes an issue later.

It wouldn't load for me but I'll have to go back later and try again.

That almost made me cry!
I am sorry to just be posting, but congrats on making a decision that feels right for your family.
Feb. 20 will be my big day of reckoning. . .

It sounds like you made a good choice.
