Spice of Life

WOW- I made it through NaBloPoMo. This was my first attempt. During the Holiday it was a bit rough. I am glad I stuck it out. I met a few other bloggers through it. I like the randomizer function.

Thank you for the many food suggestions. I have made a list of them and I am going to the grocery store later to stock up. I am having a hard time mostly preparing the food .. then eating it. I need to make larger quantities for that .. cook less have more prepared items. It's good to see what everyone is eating. They say variety is the spice of life... keep the food ideas coming.

Congrats on making it through November (I never remember all those letters, just one of the reasons I didn't do it).

Making leftovers is's really the only way I eat anything during the week. I've got a ton of recipes for pasta sauces, soups, and chilis that you can live off of for awhile. Email me if you want

Ecuador? That sounds nice - especially this time of year.

I don't know if these food have been suggested, but I like apples and bananas with peanut butter and sometimes Thai chicken coconut soup really hits the spot. I find carbs seem to make things worse and non-meat protein like nuts or cheese or PB seems to help.
