I have been meaning to ask the Internets these questions for some time now ....
- Anyone know a good breakfast bar with fruit in it that does not contain loads of sugar? Can I make my own with less sugar? Ya'know like these. MT loves this concept and I loathe the sugar overload ..Am I being too wacky?
- Are you still putting your 12+ month old in footy pajama's? How long can/do you do this?
- Any one's child waking up in the morning with bumps that look like mosquito bites on them? Maybe hives? I have no idea what/how he gets these on him. It seems like every few days, Some fade and More appear ... He doesn't itch or bother them ..they just bother me because I cannot figure out how they get on him. He got some a few days ago and they look like hives actually but they do not go away for a few days. Maybe more allergies I just haven't figured out yet. Yes, he has clean sheets, I dunno, Sign me up for MOTY.
Thank you for not flogging me for my last post. I am trying to be gentle with myself.. feel what I feel and move on. My OB's office forgot to prick my finger for the NT test while I was there, So I have to go back for that tomorrow. It will be alil while longer for the results.

Yes I still put be in footed jammies. Carters has them up to size 5t. They are really soft too.
I love big love too! Starts soon...Oooh and I got hooked on true blood too.
I still have some catching up to do on your posts, but I wanted to answer what I can. We were still using footie pajamas, but started running out of ones that fit. We've gotten a couple of sets of shorts/tees that work well. But we'd still be doing feeties if we had more that fit. :)
I didn't think anyone else wathced the Kardashians but me, now I feel better.
On the PJ's, I stopped them when they could walk, b/c they would fall so easily on my hard wood and linoleum. So for my oldest it was 1year and my middle son was walking on his own at 9 months.
I think they make those footed pj's for up to like 5t or so like someone else mentioned!
I am not sure about low sugar fruit bar.. but maybe check like a trader joes or wholefoods?
1. Can't help ya on the breadfast bars. SORRY!
2. Hell, if I could find them in adult size, I WOULD WEAR THEM!!!
3. Could the bumps be humitidty/heat related? With his sensitive skin, it could be anything. If they aren't bothering him I wouldn't worry. OK, yes I would but it is easier to tell someone not to worry if you aren't the Mommy in the situation. Did ya get that??? :o)
I'd say footie pajamas as long as you want.
I bet we can figure out how to make some of those bars. Pack up MT and come over one day and we'll play around in the kitchen until we get it.
Just to echo everybody else: footie pajamas never go out of style!
I was going to suggest those fruit bars, yes loaded w/ sugar but they taste so good. Hmm have you tried a health food store?
The bumps might be hives. Try to cancel out his food source. G gets a few but I think they are from a spider she gets just 1 or 2 and I have killed 2 spiders in her room lately. Maybe mosquitos?
Your tag is great. Only comment -- if you a chance go to ALASKA -- it is breath taking. It is wonderful.
Good luck w/ the job search
Just a thought, I don't know how cool/warm your home is - but maybe the footies are making him too hot at night. Especially when covered with a blanket. Heat rash usually appears on the belly and back. You can feel them, but really can't see them. You may try to just let him sleep in a shirt with a blanket - that might help - Just a thought.
Gerber has these - the kids loved them at that age - and now sometimes too -

Good Luck =] and a late congrats on the new baby =]Fingers crossed for a girl
You can put him in footies until he is 11 years old--it just gets harder to find them. (I know this because when Michael was 8 years old he went through a phase were he wanted footies!)
Childrens Place has some on sale.
My husband and I love Big Love too...I can't think why I did not put it on my list!
Gerbers make Breakfast bars for babies/toddlers--but I did not check on the sugar content...also, what about Fig Newtons? Both my kids love them...
The Kashi fruit bars are slightly better. They're still sugary, but some of the sugar in them is brown rice syrup which is at least a bit better. It's still too much sugar for me to handle though.
Love your places to visit. :)
Worked 2 part time jobs? Geez, woman.
Yes, we absolutely still put Liam in footy pajamas. And a sleep sack. We use the kind of footy pj's that have the non-slip stuff on the bottom (Carters and Gap).
Sorry, I am just seeing this post! I don't have any answers to the questions really. Let me know about the breakfast bars. The girls love them, too!
The bumps sound like hives...did you change laundry detergent recently? Crib sheets washed in something different? That's all I can think of.
Oh, and I watch the Kardashians, too!
Both of the boys wake up with bumps once in a while that look just like bug bites. I've got no clue what they are, but they go away so I dont' worry about it!
Footie Pajamas rock!!!
