To answer some questions that were asked. Or to give clarification on some stuff
- I am not at all against Juice or Milk. I struggle getting 12oz of Formula in MT a day still. He will drink 2 sippy cups full of water. I am trying to get him to drink formula out of the sippy. He HATES the formula or hates the bottle. I am not able to figure out which it is. I have switched formulas a few times to see if that would help us any - But it doesn't. So, I am hesitant to push the Juice issue until I feel I can get enough nutrients in him liquid wise. I did put Milk in the sippy today for breakfast. It went over like a lead balloon. I will keep trying little at a time.
- I try to be wise with MT's food selections. I am not at all bothered if he is offered different types of food normally. We try to live a very real, very balanced lifestyle. Including our Diets. We try to live out the moderation's theory.
- YES, Does this Kid look like his Father or What ?!?!
- I am not at all or ever will be opposed to holding/rocking/insert whatever verb to get MT to sleep. These days are few and far between. My child was held, nursed, soothed to sleep for the most part of the first 5 -6 months. Then all of a sudden, He decided that he would like to be put down to sleep. He tends to get uncomfortable when trying to be held/rocked to sleep. I obliged.
- My "sickness" has stepped into high gear over the last 2 days and seems to last all day. It is brought on by the thought of drinking water.
- I personally want to hug every one of you that commented on what a lovely family I have. Gushing, Thank you so much. * and those that included that I didn't look so bad either .. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I am having a very hard time with the extra 18lbs that snuck up on me .... My mid- section is so bloated and poofy. It happened SO very Quickly this time. I was able to ease into it last time. I am not eased at all ... it was more like ...... BAM! I was wearing Mat. Clothes in those pictures. It just feels weird Since I didn't do Mat clothes until 17-19 weeks last time.
- I am Planning a birthday part for a 1 yr old ..... This.Floors.me. *what time was everyone's party at? I am trying to figure out what time to have the party. I rented a park shelter right acrossed from the playground.
- I am trying to figure out how to re-decorate the ye ole blog. When I get bored this weekend, I am going to see what I come up with.

We haven't had our party, yet, but I have already had it pretty much planned since March. LOL! We are doing a 12 PM party and serving Cost.co pizzas, veggie trays, and fruit trays. . . and cake, of course.
Oh, and before I forget, I don't think I said it yesterday, but I was thinking, "What a GORGEOUS family!"
For the first party, I would definitely take into consideration at what time your baby's first nap is. If possible, do the decorating during his nap and then have daddy and baby and guests show up after the nap. Good Luck and have fun =]
Wow, I can't believe it's time to plan the 1st bday party...how exciting!
I agree with Lissa, try to plan it around MT's nap, if possible. I think we had Miss O.'s around 3pm, right after her afternoon nap.
Here's hoping the morning sickness eases up soon!
Thank you for giving me hope that at some point my son may actually nap without being held.
Can't wait to see pics of the party! wow, ONE!
We had our party at 5, because it's when he normally eats and meant some friends could come after work.
Hi Farah, I'm glad you all loved Disney! I agree with you that is "the most magical place on earth". I wish I could live in Cindy's castle....
We're doing N's party at 2pm, we're doing a dog theme, and that' sll I've got. I've picked a day, time and place, but have no idea's for a menu yet. Other than cake... yum!!
We had to tell people a couple of times that our boys wouldn't go to sleep if they were held; the nursery workers kept trying to rock them to sleep and couldn't figure out why they kept fussing!
Birthday party - fun! Ours didn't go so well, but that was mostly because I didn't plan very far ahead. :) I echo the schedule-around-the-nap idea. If it's time for him to eat anyway, maybe he's more likely to try the cake? (Assuming that's your plan...forgive me if it's not!)
Have fun!
Well my sister plenned the birthday party in the afternoon. My niece took her long nap in the middle of the day instead of two shorter naps. Then guests and everybody gathered around 3:00 or so. She had a cookout. Basically the kids ate the hot dogs or the burgers. then cake. People stayed till evening but it was fun. Then my niece was tired enough to go to bed at her normal time but not cranky either. hope that helps.
You DO have a gorgeous family... you guys are beautiful. I never get tired of reading about you or looking at all of your pictures!
I am sorry that you are feeling sick and I hope it passes soon.
I think we are going to have Josie's party at noon and eat right away then have fun after. My brother is hosting it at his house (they have a pool) the day after we celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. Yes, it is early but my whole family will be home.
I am pretty sure we are having pizza or left overs from the party the day before.
I still can't believe he is going to be 1. I remember you telling us how your water broke at your appointment! HA!
BIG SMOOCHES!
P.S. I need to you email me your address again!
No clue about when/what/or where as far as birthday parties are concerned. All I know is that my niece didn't get a nap before hers and it wasn't that much fun.
In case I didn't mention it on your last post, you do look wonderful!
I'm so sorry the sickness is so bad. :-( I hope it doesn't last long or get any worse.
http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/ has some great layouts!
I say it's a girl this time. Just my two cents. ;)
*hugs*
