6 Weeks

We are making progress in our BF-ing attempts. The mom group on Friday was such a great, informative, re-assuring experience. I found out that 6 weeks is a transition/growing stage. I was not alone, It will pass ... all music to my ears. I needed to hear that it is normal and expected - I also was given some Ideas and comfort. (thank you for all of you who made suggestions! I did read hap.piest baby on the blo.ck)
We went on a "roadtrip"trip. My Aunt, Uncle and Grandmother flew down to meet MT. We all drove 2.5 hours away yesterday for my sister to see MT. I was beyond nervous - But It went miraculously well and gave me more confidence in the whole leaving the house anxiety. We went and got a gadget that allowed me to power my breastpump in the car. I pumped a few times yesterday in the car - which also gave me more confidence "on the go". It seems like this "all" becoming very managable.

Of Course, I leave you pictures:

Is there anything more precious than a sleeping baby? I didn't think it was possible - but is he getting cuter?!?!!

Hooray for a smooth road trip! I'm so glad it went well and that you were able to be with your family.

MT is just so handsome! I cannot get over that gorgeous red hair!!!!!

Alright, you must spill the beans and let us all know how you make a baby look that cute. One of these days you'll have to let the secret out of the bag because he is just so precious in all his photos! Hey that's cool about the car gadget - anything to make life easier and more portable is a good idea to me! And with my in-laws two hours away, something like that if we do well with the whole breastfeeding thing would be good when the time comes. Since my husband loves gadgets so much, he probably has one hiding in the closet and I just don't know it yet, LOL! Yeah right, you should just see his face when he sees anything related to breast feeding- his face turns a little white, hehe! Congrats on the 6 week mark, gosh time flies. And It's cool that the book was good too. ((hugs))

I can't get over how sweet he is. I just want to give him a squeeze! Glad you read hbotb. FJ and I use it as our bible and it seems to work. We are struggling with the pacifier/ sucking desire at night though because it doesn't stay in T's mouth. We are trying to do the 5 S's without it. Anyway- bf-ing question: when you pump- do you freeze, refrigerate, or give MT the milk right away? How warm do you make the milk? Can you email me or comment me with these answers? Thanks!

I know how "scary" are those few first trips outside home, but it will get easier and easier, I promise!...

I love how, (I believe) MT looks like BOTH of you, he is just so sweet and he is sure getting big!
