C'mon Vogue

Ok I am in desperate need of a new hair style - I have alot of stuff happening in May and I could just use a pick me up. Getting my hair done has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I have not have a haircut/color since my first cycle of iui. I do not think I will get a color this time because I do not think I can maintain it through my leave BUT I can get a fun, stylish new do. Here are the choices - what do you think? (there is a poll if you wish to be anon)

I like the Katie Holmes cut. I don't think it would require too much blowdrying and styling, so it would be easy to maintain with a new baby.

Ooh new hairstyles, so exciting!

Jenni's is my favorite, but I had my hair like that for a long time. It was easy to keep cute SO LONG AS I kept up with my regular appointments. Otherwise, it got scruffy fast.
Any of those choices is fabulous, though. You better post photos!
*hugs*

While I like Julia's the best, I think the more practical one is Katie's look. If you have a rough day julia's or Jenni's can show it in an instant. Katie's can look okay a little tousled or not perfectly straight. With a new baby on the way, I would go with Katie's.

I've always been a fan of the Katie haircut, but I'm sure which ever you choose will look great. Please share pictures when you do!

I think Jenni's would be the easiest to take care of. Katie's may look like it can be easily styled, I doubt it. At least with my hair it wouldn't be. I'm more of a wash and go kind of girl and there's no way it would look like that without a blowdryer, mouse, hairspray, and at least one type of heated styling tool.

But that's JMO. :-) They'd all look cute on you!

Ooo tough choices, since I like all of them--if I have to pick one--I'd say Jenni McCarthy!

I like the Katie Holmes cut. Looks fairly easy to maintain. I wanna see pics if you get a new do! I love new dos!!! Wish I could get one, but it naturally curly hair there's not much one can do but leave it long with layers. Blah!!

I'd go with the Katie Holmes cut based on your face structure. I like the ease of the Jenny McCarthy cut, but I think it would make your round face look rounder. Katie's cut would elongate your face and would look good. I think Julia's lacks body and isn't as flattering as I've seen her hair be.

I voted! I have been kinda pondering this too!

I like all 3, but I think Julia's is my favorite. So exciting! I want to see pictures!

I picked Jenni's because it looks the easiest to maintain. The other two are great cuts but look like they take a lot of work otherwise they will end up looking like rats' nests.

Jenni's is fun and funky but also sophisticated - you can make it go any way you want...

I also vote the Jenni because it seems like it would require less styling and maintenance (provided your hair is straight to begin with).

Maybe I like her best because she hasn't been all over the TV with a big pregnant belly, but I like Julia's do.

Hmmm, I think Katie or Jenni, but I would think that Jenni has thicker hair. So Katie if your hair is thin, Jenni if it's thick. Also, just an FYI... Jenni went to the same hs as me, although I'm a couple of years older, we were there at the same time. :)

CAVEAT: I'm african and know nothing about non-african hair. :) having said that, I think if your hair is naturally straight, the Jenni but if you're prone to curls, the Katie is better. Imagine a morning after you've been up half the night with Mini, wash & go is probably what you'll be looking for in the hair department (with the wash being optional) LOL

It's hard to choose for you...I find myself thinking which one I would want for myself. I think I like the Jenny one best. Julia's is too flat, and bangs are a pain. They're all fairly similar though, so maybe you could do a combination.

It depends on your hair type. Any curl or wave will make Jennie's and Julia's cut far too much work. So unless your hair is stick straight, Katie's is the way to go.

go with the Classic bob -- from Jenni's... It is awesome -- you don't have much work and it if cut right very easy to maintain..
I thank you for all of your blog -- it is helping me see what others are going through..

I really really like the Julia style, but I chose Jenni, it looks easy, sophisticated, but fun at the same time! Enjoy choosing, looking forward to the choice you make!

I've always been a fan of the classic bob - flip it out, flip it under... funky/classy...
katie's is cute but if you have my styling skills, you're screwed as soon as you leave the salon.
if you have super straight hair, you can get away with julia's... not really helping am i?
