to pee or not to pee that is the question ...

OK Its CD40 - MOST of my periods have been 36-40 days ever since Jan 07. My boobs have been "sore" and get sore - er at night .. i am holding out. I have a baby shower on saturday that I have had to plan (with emotional difficults at times) for my friend .. I am hoping that by Sunday I will be ready to POAS.
..........................................................................................................
I typed the above message at o'dark thirty this morning and then had to walk away from my computer. I am back to posting and it is no longer CD40 ..Yep, you guessed it ... It is CD1 .. I totally jinxed myself .. I had happy thoughts of POAS and seeing bright postive plus signs or flashing "pregnant" displays ! I would be lying if I said I wasn't sad. Of course I am. BUT if my boobs were sore, it should mean that my hormone lvls changed and I can assume I ovulated. Anyone knows that a person with PCOS has difficulty ovulating on their own. I feel like the diet, exercise (ok just alil exercise), and metformin have actually made a difference in my body. My cycles have been long but consistantly long .... I feel like this is positive steps in the right direction. OK Clo.mid .. bring it ON !!! I embrace the Crazy and hotflash raging beotch you made me last time ! This cycle is going to be good and hopefully i will just be a hotflash'n beotch and leave off the side of crazy!! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Here's a good luck Charm (or a map for the swimmers) for all of us starting a new cycle of Meds.

Damn. Don't you just hate when you jinx yourself. I swear to you I have taken a pregnancy test only to realize that I had my period. Grrrrr!!!

Hmm. Usually it takes actually peeing on the stick to bring on my AF. Sorry for the failed cycle.. Sucks. LOVE the sign!

The progress that you have made is great, even if it is not as extensive that you had hoped for. But at least you can move on to Clomid. Hopefully you won't experience those weird pains in the nether regions like I did!

Good luck to you, too.

CD1 blows. I'm sorry : ( . I have pcos too and the met and diet (lost almost 90 lbs) made a HUGE difference in my cycles but I still ended up on femara. I'll take all the help I can get. I love that sign.

Hi there. Thanks for your comment today on my blog. Just a little info about me: been married over 14 years and TTC just as long. Tried the RE about 6 years ago with no luck, plus a bad time in our lives/marriage so we stopped that. Today is CD 38 and I'm hoping and praying to begin clomid with the next cycle.

So I know all about being a Psycho. I remember that from the last time, but this new RE doesn't want to do anything more drastic until we do that clomid thing. Whatev.

btw, the first time around I did metformin and lost 70 lb. It didn't help the PCOS (or rather I don't know if it did) because my tubes were blocked. Stupid RE I had back then.

I'm not on met this time. Not sure where the doc is coming from, but my tubes are clear so I'll claim that victory!
