New Year, New Terrain

Hi, My name is Terrible Blogger. Merry Holidays and Happy New Year!

Life with 2. Uhm... Busy! MT is almost 19 months and we refer to the new lil one as 2.0. 2.0 is almost 6 weeks.

MT is actually a very big fan of his lil brother. This has helped me so much. MT is my baby monitor. If the "beh beeh beeeh beeh" (french sounding MT speak for Baby) moves, farts, whimpers, breathes MT is there to make sure that he is ok. He loves to give 2.0 kisses and hugs.

E was off work for ~5weeks so I was very lucky. 4 arms for 2 babies. It was the holidays so he took a few extra weeks of leave. it was actually our first Christmas with E not working. He took knew that once he started back working, I would have no help from him anymore. He works weird hours that basically do not allow him to help around the house or with the kids until these extra few weeks so that we could actually have a family Christmas and also because we all is schedule changes. Hopefully in July He will be able to change things around so he can be home to help and spend time with us.

BF is still going well. It has been a challenge to BF and still try to wrangle a VERY energetic toddler. I have never at all considered or understood energy drinks until MT learned to move. I have decided that my son is the reason those drinks exist. And I still have not had one. I learned a few tricks is that you give him a snack/toy/tv show/insert whatever distraction that he really enjoys that he ONLY gets when you are BF-ing the baby. This has helped us some. Other times, I have learned to BF in a sling and Run after him.

My mother had to be admitted in the hospital Monday. After a few days and a few tests were performed, they discovered ulcers in her stomach. They think it is from worrying and stress and a terrible eating habit. But she is out of the hospital and hopefully start listening to us to find an outlet for stress and take better care of herself

Since he has returned back to work, Some days I know I am not equipped for this, Other days it seems to go w/o a glitch. I have only had 1 melt down and a few freak outs! But in the end, It's over little things that do not matter in the long term.

Since I am a bad blogger Leave a comment on where you are in your Life so I can play Catch Up and delete my thousands of unread posts.

Great pictures! It's good to hear you're surviving all of the craziness in your life! I don't know how you're doing it, but thank God hubby got some time off!

The twins are almost 17 months old now and they're little nutjobs. I seriously couldn't imagine doing what you're doing...I'd be mainlining those energy drinks! Keep up the good work!

Congrats on your sweet babies! I happy to see you still posting and cannot wait to read more :).

Life here is good. I am loving life with my sweet LG and the twins. I started a new blog and gave myself a new name for the internet so I'd have a little privacy.

So happy to know things are manageable!... I am sure that you will be an expert in no time.

We are all fine, had a blast during the holidays and are still trying to add to our family - preparing ourselves and making a space in our work schedules for an April/March IVF cycle -

Emotionaly we are in a great place, we feel very fortunate for being able to at least try to overcome our IF struggles. We are pretty aware that we already have a yummy cake and are just looking for the cherry on top!

The best wishes for this new year to you and your family ;)

You are always an amazing commenter AND blogger--so we alllll understand that life with MT and 2.0 is keeping you, umm, a bit tied up :) Thinking about your mom...

Great pictures of the kiddos!

I've missed your blogs! I can totally relate to chasing a toddler while trying to bf. Craziness. Its worse when FJ feeds R a bottle though. T can handle me feeding R but not FJ. Funny how kids are. Nothing new here- going back to work in 2 weeks, stressing about child care, trying to beat ear infections in both ears with both girls. That's all. Take care of yourself and hope to hear more soon!

It's great to hear from you! I'm glad E was able to be home for as long as he was, though I can't imagine how tough it must be to manage both MT and 2.0 on your own. And I'm sorry to hear about your mom -- I hope she is able to make the changes it sounds like she needs to make in order to improve her health.

As for us, Harry is now almost 16 months and tons of fun, and we are expecting number 2 in late May/early June. I'm going to be looking to you for advice on handling two under two!

Hi, Welcome Back! I am lucky that I get to follow you on FB, or I would have gone nutso by now!

SO glad that all is going well with you (for the most part, anyway, I think that only one meltdown sounds amazing!).

We are almost at 12 weeks with our own 2.0 and Will is 17 months and going strong!

You aren't a bad blogger at all. You are a GOOD and busy mom!! :) I am glad to hear that things are going so well. I don't know how you do it, I'd lose my mind for sure.

L is doing awesome and I am sad to say she'll be 1 in less than 2 months. Time flies!

*hugs*
