Balloon

Back from the Dr - They fit me in at 1pm for an U/S. Ah Hello Friend, The tra.nsvag cam. How I have not missed you.

I am measuring 7 weeks 5 days, strong heartbeat (168) visible fetal pole. All seems A-OK. They decided to put me back on progesterone again just to be on the safe said (until 13 weeks). Next appointment May 26th. We will do the 1st screen u/s at that time also. *and to check the due date again since it's a range. Dec 3-10th.

They also just went ahead and fit me in early for the pap and all that jazz so I didn't have to come back. Then sent me on my way. The U/S allowed me to see/hear and I am now starting to believe the things my body is feeling. The balloon seems to definitely be blowing up faster this time around.

Just curious. For those that have been to Disney recently (past yr) - What Park did you go to.. would you recommend it?

I have been to all the Disney parks within the last month and two of them YESTERDAY. I recommend all of them. But what are you looking to experience, exactly?

  9. This is great news farah!! Glad to hear that all is well!! We went to disney twice in the past 3 years, we went to the waterpark, animal kingdom, magic kingdom. MGM, Universal and Epcot. All were great! The first time we did the Disney rounds, the second time we did the magic kingdom and Universal. I have to say we LOVED universal with the bigger boys, more cool rides for them.

  10. Well my birthday is December 12 so it looks like we might welcome another Sagittarius to the party :) I'm glad everything looks well!

Ok - had to share that my word verification was "demon". WTF? Maybe it's referring to me because I was secretly hoping you'd go late and I could share that date ;)

  16. Farah, this is great news! (Just catching up on everything after a weekend away.) The pregnancy certainly explains all the symptoms you were feeling.
Can't wait to read all about it.
Also, a friend of mine picked up some dresses in Walmart yesterday for cheap cheap.

  17. For little ones and sheer Disney "magic" factor I'd recommend Magic Kingdom. That being said, Magic Kingdom is the most stressful for me when it's busy and/or hot. EPCOT is a close second on the hot stress factor b/c it's just SO huge and SO uncovered by shade. I like EPCOT, but I don't think it's a very good one day undertaking. Hollywood Studios is very manageable and pleasant fun as it is small and not usually horribly crowded.

Animal Kingdom is very shaded, and has lots of low impact activity available. But it is QUITE large, so lots of walking would be in order. Animal Kingdom and Studios are my "laid back day" parks.

    Did that help?

  19. I am so happy and excited for you!! I've taken so long to respond because I literally just got back from a week at DisneyWorld on Sunday.

My little one is about 3 weeks younger than yours. If you only have one day, go to Magic Kingdom. It's got stuff you can ride with MT and some fun stuff for you and hubby. If you have several days, you could also hit EPCOT. It's gigantic and my family covers it in two days instead of one. There's just a couple things you can ride with MT there. Hollywood studios is good for shows and thrill rides. Not a lot we could ride with baby. And our least favorite is Animal Kingdom. It's a HUGE park and everything is really spread out and there's only one baby friendly ride there. HTH and congratulations again!!!

  22. Yay for a great appointment!

As for Disney, we took Miss O. last spring, we went to ALL 4 parks, but hands down, Magic Kingdom was her favorite!

  23. SOOOO glad to hear all went well at the appt:-) I'm excited to watch and read your adventure this time around.

As far as parks, we went to Disney last June. I haven't been to many of the other parks in years, so I'm not much help. HOWEVER, since we'll be staying at the animal kingdom lodge in October (and you WILL be visiting, that's just a fact:-)hehe), we'll probably check that one out for sure. Looking forward to hearing what you decide and how it goes.
