I was going to be one of the mom's that let them "cry it out" in their own crib. YEAH RIGHT!! It is the choice of you and E anyway.

A couple of pieces of assvice about your trip. See if they have a second hand gear store near them. (like Once.upon.a.child. or something similar.) Have them buy a few things. It save you from having to lug stuff on the plane and they can sell it back for store credit. THey won't need it for long periods and by the time you come back, mt probably will be past the weight limit and then they won't have to buy new. My sister has done that on the few long distance trips she has taken and then she can pack more stuff she will need rather than take up space with bouncy seats and other equipment. Unless you are going to buy a seat ticket for the baby, you will most likely have to baggage check a car seat. CHildren under 1 (Maybe older) can be carried on the plane and sit on your lap. Not sure about the liquid thing though. hope that helps atleast a little.Kathy Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15658449843683175580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-231056327765729534.post-1408156903493938352008-07-31T21:12:00.000-04:002008-07-31T21:12:00.000-04:00Those little smiles are the sweetest...I flew with...Those little smiles are the sweetest...

I flew with my son when he was 6 weeks... he has flown 16 round trips in his 4 years! Let MT nurse or have a bottle at take-off and landing, and he'll do great, I'm sure. There's lots of info out there with the regulations for bringing liquids. If you've bought him his own seat (you don't have to until he's 2, but it can be helpful to have his own space) than his carseat should fit in no problem. Good luck with it all.maresihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01119494674146039715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-231056327765729534.post-6685799757838477512008-07-31T18:59:00.000-04:002008-07-31T18:59:00.000-04:00Your posts always make me think about a lot of stu...Your posts always make me think about a lot of stuff and I find myself smiling a lot - that I know what you mean smile! -

Yes, parenting introduce us to a whole new world, that sometimes we thought we were never met or experience.... and know what, I believe that is the beauty of it!

There are no right or wrong, you just go with what you feel.

PS..MT smiling is just so so so CUTE!!!T-Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16363028438727208029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-231056327765729534.post-2869617253522733582008-07-31T16:34:00.000-04:002008-07-31T16:34:00.000-04:00I do love the pic's.Let me know if you end up usin...I do love the pic's.

Let me know if you end up using google reader and if you like it better!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13194940947748022677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-231056327765729534.post-23460879247701491902008-07-31T15:08:00.000-04:002008-07-31T15:08:00.000-04:00Oh, I can't wait to see T smile! My MIL recommended that we keep T in the carseat until we get on the plane and then check it at the gate. We will need to fit the base in a suitcase but should be able to check the carseat. I think you can bring as much breastmilk/ formula as you need for your baby. I have to smile when I read what you said about breastfeeding. I used to be like no way will I ever breastfeed - it freaked me out. Now I have completely changed my tune and will at least try. If I don't continue it, that's okay. But I'll try. What is good for one person is not always good for all - and I think this whole infertility, and bumpy pregnancy have taught me that more than other. It's more important to support others in their decisions and keep an open mind :-) I hope you find some helpful hints for traveling with MT so you can have a good trip when the time comes :-)sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05816972200056579468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-231056327765729534.post-72517634718868034352008-07-31T13:43:00.000-04:002008-07-31T13:43:00.000-04:00I'm here by way of Here We Go Again, Jen's Blog. Now that you have a child and are experiencing everything, you'll likely start giving an internal eye roll every time you hear a soon to be mom use the "I will never" line about certain parenting decisions she's yet to actually experience. But, you'll just keep your mouth shut and let her figure it out on her own, b/c you've been there yourself.

I said I'd NEVER be a co-sleeper..just NEVER..wouldn't happen. My sister changed my mind though. She said she loved having her baby sleep on her chest, and they both slept better. Same as you, she did this mostly for after the early morning feeding. But they both loved it. She knew he was safe and could feel him breathing.

Inferility taught me that what is right for one person isn't right for another - and I'm trying to carry that into other aspects of my life. Just because I do or do not want to do something doesn't make it right or wrong for someone else...if that makes sense?BigP's Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07124157582246972372noreply@blogger.com
